BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Carlisle 3, Chambersburg 0: The Trojans went on the road Thursday night and dropped a Mid Penn Commonwealth match to the Thundering Herd.

Carlisle won games of 25-16, 25-16 and 25-18 over Chambersburg (0-2, 0-2 MPC).

"We started off pretty slow, but picked it up in the last two games," Trojan coach Ray Frazer said. "Carlisle is a big, physical team and it took us a while to match their playing style. Vincent Lin really found his rhythm offensively in the last two games. Andrew Holtry also did a great job blocking throughout the night. Our defense looked really good; however, we struggled offensively."

Lin came up with 7 kills, 2 blocks and 7 service points, while Holtry had 3 blocks and 3 block kills.

Also for Chambersburg, Wyatt McMullen had 5 kills and 5 points, Cole Myers had 2 blocks, 2 block kills, 8 points and 14 assists, Reed Myers scored 17 points and Joseph Byers had 9.
