Chambersburg 3, Hershey 0: The Trojans got their season off to a fine start Monday evening by winning three straight games to defeat Hershey in a non-league match at CASHS Field House.

"It was a good start to our season," Chambersburg coach Ty Frelin said. "The girls came out aggressive and played hard. The girls had very few mistakes, especially for this early in the season."

The Trojans won by scores of 25-13, 25-8 and 25-18.

Addi Kegerreis racked up 13 kills and added 10 digs for the Trojans. Also at the net, Marha Lehman added 7 kills and Nikaya Hawkins blocked 5 balls.

Morgan Shaner served for 18 points, including 2 aces, and Lehman had 12 points, including 7 aces. Karley Skultety had 10 digs, Ava Zeigler made 16 assists and Alayna Jones had 11.

Frelin said, "We served tough and kept Hershey off-balance."
