Blue Streaks complete comeback on Trojans

BOYS SOCCER
Manheim Township 3, Chambersburg 2: The Trojans lost a 2-0 lead with 10 minutes remaining and eventually fell by a goal to the Blue Streaks in a non-league game on the road Saturday.

"In the last 10 minutes, we had two penalty kicks called against us — a lack of discipline on defense cost us the game," Chambersburg coach Corey Grove said. "We have to get better at not diving in and being patient defensively. That's three PKs against us in two games."

The Trojans (1-2) took the lead on goals by Michael Cespedes in the 25th minute and Luca Gaisbauer in the 48th, while Mario Wiseman and Izhais produced assists.

Both teams took 5 shots, and MT led in corner kicks, 9-2. Trojan keeper Drew Cover made 3 saves.

Grove said, "It's a game of fine margins, where we had other good chances and didn't finish them."
