Red Land 2, Chambersburg 0: The Patriots threw a shutout at the Trojans and earned a Mid Penn Commonwealth victory Monday afternoon in Lewisberry.

"For whatever reason, we just never seem to play well on their grass field," Chambersburg coach Ed Franchi said. "But that's no excuse. We didn't play as a cohesive unit today. We should know that playing selfishly isn't going to work with the caliber of teams we play.

"We need to put this behind us and come out with a better effort Thursday at Cedar Cliff."

The Trojans are 2-3 (0-3 MPC).
