Cumberland Valley 3, Chambersburg 1: The Trojans pulled even with the Eagles by winning game 2 (25-21), but CV won the next two to take a Mid Penn Commonwealth victory at CASHS Field House on Thursday evening.

The Eagles won their games 25-23, 25-17 and 25-20.

"Tonight was a very competitive match between two solid teams," Chambersburg coach Ty Frelin said. "It was back-and-forth the whole match, and we just couldn't get over the hump."

Karley Skultety came up with 28 digs and led with 14 service points for the Trojans (2-4, 1-2 MPC), while Addi Kegerreis had 17 kills, 2 blocks and 8 points.

Also for Chambersburg, Paige Davis had 34 assists, 12 digs, 8 points and 2 blocks; Marah Lehman had 15 kills and 17 and 17 digs and Nizaya Hawkins blocked two balls.

Frelin said, "We played a good match, but there are still some little things we need to do better to be successful."
