Dallastown's wins were 25-22, 25-12 and 25-22. The Maidens rallied to beat the Trojans 22-25, 25-18, 12-25, 25-21 and 15-12.

"We played the first match with a lack of energy and intensity," Chambersburg coach Ty Frelin said. "We played passively and were satisfied just to play and not to compete. We have a ton of talent on this team but until they decide to play as a team, we will struggle."

Team leaders included Paige Davis (9 service points, 25 assists, 10 digs), Addi Kegerreis (2 blocks, 9 kills), Alayna Jones (7 points), Karley Skultety (6 points, 20 digs), and Marah Lehman (9 kills, 18 digs).

In the Waynesboro match, Davis had 17 points, 38 assists and 20 digs; Kegerreis had 2 blocks and 21 kills, Skultety had 16 digs and 9 points, Nizaya Hawkins had 3 blocks, Jones had 3 blocks, Lehman had 9 points and 23 digs.

Frelin said, "It was a scrappy match between two similar teams. The difference was the drive and determination that Waynesboro played with vs. the  that we played with. We lack someone who wants to take the lead."
