Chambersburg wins again: For the second straight day, the Trojans finished atop the team standings in a Mid Penn girls golf match at Rich Valley G.C. in Mechanicsburg on Wednesday.

Chambersburg compiled a 21-1 record in regular season tournaments, and the postseason begins next week. The winning score of 252 bested Cumberland Valley by 9 strokes.

The Trojans' Emily Rensch shot a fine round of 74 — 2-over par — and tied for first place with Central Dauphin's Eva Moawad. Rensch scored a 39 on the front nine, then scorched the back nine for 35, carding birdies on Nos. 10, 11 and 12.

Alaina Morris turned in a round of 86, with nines of 42-44, to take seventh place.

Emma Tolbert tied for 10th place with her score of 92, shooting nines of 46-46.

Rensch (81.3 average), Morris (91.7), Tolbert (92.4) and Chloe Fogelsonger (98.7) have all qualified for the Mid Penn tournament.
