State College 3, Chambersburg 0: The Trojans out-shot the Little Lions 13-7, but State College put in 3 goals in the second half to hand Chambersburg a Mid Penn Commonwealth defeat at Trojan Stadium on Thursday night.

"I thought we executed our game plan very well in the first half, keeping it 0-0 while having some quality chances as well," Chambersburg coach Corey Grove said. "But we lost our marks twice in the second half and they were able to capitalize."

Trojan goalkeeper Drew Cover made 3 saves.

Grove said, "I thought Cristian Lopez and Izhais Jean were excellent tonight and gave everything they had. It doesn't get any easier with how difficult our schedule is, but we have to learn from our mistakes and improve if we want to get results against the top teams."
