Carlisle Invitational: Both Chambersburg teams placed in the top 10 at the prestigious Carlisle Invitational on Saturday — the boys taking 7th place in the Challenge Race and the girls placing 9th in the Challenge Race.

The Trojans' total of 318 points was well behind the winner, University High, which  had 54. Chambersburg was the second-best team from District 3.

Ari Snyder placed 16th for the Trojans, with a time of 16:14.1.

Other teammates who counted were Aiden Alleman (50th, 16:56.2), Liam Kirkpatrick (71st, 17:15.2), Julian Clark (80th, 17:25.3) and Owen Shrader (97th, 17:38.0).

In the girls race, Tatnall, Del. romped to the title with just 27 points. The Trojans had 298 points and wsa the third District 3 team.

The top Chambersburg runners were Lexi Boyd in 18th (19:26.2), Madelyn Koons in 24th (19:48.4), Brook Boone in 61st (21:04.6), Samantha Faust in 91st (21:40.1), Raegan Hepner in 104th (21:50.5) and Dana Rosenberry in 105th (21:50.8).
