Chambersburg 3, Susquehanna Township 1: The Trojans took their recent practice to heart Monday afternoon, using a strong offense to earn their first win of the season, a non-league victory over Susquehanna Township in Harrisburg.

Chambersburg coach Kelsey Baker said, "The girls have really been putting in the work in practice and it is paying off. We've been working on how to finish in the circle and think today's game showed how much work the girls have put in."

Jaxin Frazer opened the scoring for the Trojans (1-11) with a goal on a penalty stroke. Raegan Barrett tallied the second goal with an assist from Finley Vandevander. Then Mara Costolo put in the clincher, assisted by Bella Leeking.

"Our offense looked really great today," Baker said. "I'm incredibly proud of these girls and how hard they work. We still have quite a few games left this season and I'm excited to see how the rest of it unfolds."
