Chambersburg 3, Central Dauphin 2, OT: Mario Wiesman banged in a shot off the post and into the net in overtime Tuesday night at Trojan Stadium to lift the Trojans to a huge Mid Penn Commonwealth victory over the Rams.

In back-to-back games, Chambersburg (8-3, 5-2 MPC) has knocked off Cumberland Valley and CD, both teams ahead of them in the District 3 rankings.

Trojan coach Corey Grove said, "This was a great game to watch as a neutral; not so much as a coaching staff, because it had lots of up and down moments. It was a great back-and-forth game. We have a lot of respects for CD's players and staff, so this was a big win for us."

The Rams (8-3-1) took a 1-0 lead, but Wiesman's goal 6 minutes into the second half tied it. With just two minutes left in regulation, Chambersburg got a goal by Luca Gaisbauer to go ahead 2-1. But the Rams equalized just a minute later to send the game to OT.

Grove said, "We had a much better effort in the second half. But we struggled to deal with their crosses in the box and they were dangerous all game. They made us pay at the end with a corner kick goal."

Gaisbauer and Cristian Lopez each had assists for the Trojans, who have now won 7 of their last 8 games. They out-shot CD 13-9 and Drew Cover made 7 saves in goal.
