Chambersburg places 3rd: The Trojans scored 118 points and finished just behind Exeter Township (102) and Lower Moreland in the girls team standings at the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday.

"I was pleased with our performance, but we still need to put it all together on the same day, and hopefully that will happen in the postseason," Chambersburg coach Chris Monheim said.

Lexi Boyd ran a 5K time of 19:17.1 to capture third place for the Trojans.

The rest of the scoring runners included Madelyn Koons (14th, 19:53.6), Samantha Faust (20th, 20:06.8), Brook Boone (43rd, 21:01.7) and Dana Rosenberry (47th, 21:14.7). The next two finishers were Raegan Hepner in 52th (21:29.4) and Natalie Green in 57th (21:31.5).
