Lady Trojans put on a show for big crowd

Chambersburg 3, Red Land 1: The Trojans had 3 dominating games in a non-league victory over Red Land on Thursday evening at CASHS Field House.

Chambersburg (6-10) won the first two games, 25-9 and 25-3, then after the Patriots won 25-21 in game 3, they closed it out with a 25-11 win.

"Tonight was our Dig Pink night and it was nice to see a big crowd there," Chambersburg coach Ty Frelin said. "Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been and are affected by breast cancer."

Paige Davis had a big night at the service line, recording 22 points, including 5 aces, and also put up 27 assists. Marah Lehman put down 13 assists and led in digs with 19.

Also for the Trojans, Kaylie Stull scored 11 points and had 10 digs, Karley Skultety had 11 points and 15 digs, Morgan Shaner had 14 points, Nizaya Hawkins made 4 blocks and Riley Evans had 2, Addi Kegerreis smacked 18 kills and Cami Bender had 10 digs.

Frelin said, "It was good to get an opportunity to get everyone some playing time. It was fun to see the younger girls get some court time."
