Chambersburg 3, Carlisle 1: The Trojans got back a little more help for the front line and defeated the Thundering Herd in a Mid Penn Commonwealth game at Trojan Stadium on Monday night.

Cristian Lopez returned from an injury and scored a goal and Mario Wiesman also returned and knocked in a goal for the Trojans (11-4, 8-3 MPC).

Luca Gaisbauer scored a goal and added an assist and Izhais Jean also had an assist.

"It was a good result on Senior Night," Chambersburg coach Corey Grove said. "We got Cristian back and Mario was able to play a few minutes. I thought Cristian and Luca were exceptional this evening and helped lead the team against a tough Carlisle side."

The Trojans led in shots, 10-5, and corners, 3-0, and keeper Drew Cover made 3 saves.
