Four area schools combined to win six Mid Penn Conference Sportsmanship Awards for the fall of 2023 season. The awards, voted on by the coaches in each division of each sport, were announced Thursday by the league. Chambersburg picked up two of the awards, for football and girls volleyball. James Buchanan was also a two-time winner, in the sports of golf and girls tennis. The other area winners were Greencastle-Antrim for girls soccer and Shippensburg for girls volleyball
