GIRLS BASKETBALL
Chambersburg 52, Harrisburg 27: Playing at home for the first time in six games, the Trojans made the most of it, busting out for a 25-point win over the Cougars in a Mid Penn Commonwealth game Tuesday night at CASHS Field House.

"Playing at home proved to help our game jitters," Chambersburg coach Jamiur King said. "We are learning how to play through our bad possessions by competing on the defensive end of the floor."

Freshman Emily Forrester led the Trojans (2-4, 1-1 MPC) with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Ella Parker also hit double figures with 11 points and Bree Paetow added 8.

Chambersburg led 12-2 after one quarter and 16-3 after two, then blitzed the Cougars 23-5 in the third.

"We had better focus on our offensive spacing and timing in the third quarter, which allowed us to score with more consistency," King said.
