"The boys team got to experiment with some events they don't typically swim," Chambersburg coach Chad White said. "They raced well and put up some fast times — despite just coming out of some tough holiday training."

For the Trojans (4-0, 4-0 MPC), Derek Estep had a busy day, grabbing first place in the butterfly in 57.98 and the breaststroke in 1:12.02, while anchoring the winning 200 medley relay and leading off the winning 200 freestyle team.

Chambersburg coach Hali Cormany said, "We knew this was going to be a tough meet to win — Carlisle has some great athletes and we had some sickness and injuries.

"But the team stepped up to get the win. Our third-, fourth- and fifth-place finishes is what helped us get the win today."

McKenzie Wicks had a strong day to help the Trojans (3-1, 3-1 MPC). She hit the wall first in the 50 freestyle (36.28) and the 100 backstroke (1:16.40). She also led off the winning 200 medley relay team (2:17.23) and anchored the winning 200 free relay (2:05.04).

Hailey Fegan was the only other Trojan to take an individual victory, winning the 100 free in 1:06.77.

The rest of the medley relay team was Lauren Markle, Fegan and Margot Ritchie, while Markle, Ava Grove and Lilly Evans were also on the 200 free relay team.
