Chambersburg 32, Central Dauphin East 31, OT: In a game ruled by the defenses, the Trojans pulled out a victory over the Panthers in overtime Wednesday night at CASHS Field House in a Mid Penn Commonwealth game.

"The girls have not had many, if any, games like this, where we have come out on the winning side in overtime," Chambersburg coach Jamiur King said. "We are learning game by game."

The Trojans (4-7, 2-3 MPC) were outscored by CD East 7-2 in the fourth quarter to take the game to overtime. But in OT, T.T. Kelly scored a basket and Emily Forrester made 2 of 4 free throws and that was just enough to hold off the Panthers (3-6, 2-4 MPC).

Kelly scored 10 points to lead Chambersburg, while Forrester had 8 and Ella Parker 6.

"T.T. has really been great for us these past few games," King said. "She gives us such a spark off the bench.

"It was a great conference win for us. All the girls contributed. We are learning the importance of valuing the basketball, and we are competing on every possession."

The Trojans made only 3 of 15 free throws, while East sank 11 of 21.
