GIRLS BASKETBALL
Central Dauphin East 37, Chambersburg 28: The Panthers held the Trojans to just 2 points in the third quarter and used that advantage to post a Mid Penn Commonwealth victory Friday night in Colonial Park.
CD East (4-9, 3-8 MPC) led by 4 at halftime, but increased that lead to 11 to start the fourth quarter.
The Trojans (5-12, 3-7 MPC), who had edged the Panthers in overtime earlier in the season, got 6 points from Riley Evans and 5 each from Ella Parker and Daijah Wallace.
Samirah Mamoudou led East with 13 points.
