Chambersburg 15, Mifflin County 2: Trojans captured a non-league victory over the Huskies to open their season mon Monday afternoon in Lewistown.

Chambersburg led only 2-1 in the second quarter when Blake Dupont was inserted on offense and he sparked the runaway win with 6 goals, an assist, 2 caused turnovers and 5 groundballs.

"Blake was the only guy who showed up on offense," Trojan coach Joey Wilmont said. "Kristian Freeman played solid in goal (6 saves), Eli Herbert (3 caused turnovers) played a decent game defensively and Dayre Senft got some good faceoff experience.

"The field was terrible and we were not prepared for those conditions. On top of that, we played very undisciplined lacrosse."

Also on the scoresheet were Sam Kunkleman (3 goals, 2 assists); Matt Tucker (2, 2); Riley Harmon (2, 1); Garrett Iser (1, 2), Ryan Cosey (1 goal); Brady Fretz (1 assists) and Quinn Makosy (1 assist).
