GIRLS LACROSSE
Palmyra 10, Chambersburg 7: The Trojans played well, but a few crucial turnovers cost them in a non-league defeat to Palmyra on Friday night at Trojan Stadium.

"It was a very hard-fought battle," Chambersburg coach Keara Allshouse said. "We had a couple of turnovers that could have turned the tide of the game, but overall, the girls played really well."

Taylor Mickey, Reagan Barrett and Mara Costolo each tallied 2 goals, and Barrett had an assist for the Trojans (1-1). Gabriella Sabatino, who scored her 100th career goal earlier in the week, had a goal and McKenna Myers and Ellie Sarvis each posted an assist.

Megan Mickey had 17 saves in goal.
