Chambersburg 117, Central Dauphin 33: The Trojans moved to 4-0, with 3 of them being wins of at least 76 points, with a comfortable Mid Penn Commonwealth victory over the Rams at Trojan Stadium on Thursday afternoon.

The distance runners had an impressive day, winning the 800 (Aiden Alleman, 2:04.7), the 1600 (Ari Snyder, 4:33.2) and the 3200 (Owen Shrader, 9:48.0).
Chambersburg coach Jim Boyer said, "We had four boys break 10 minutes in the 3200, which is certainly a rarity and maybe the first time in team history. Owen Shrader, Liam Kirkpatrick, Kaden Rife and Ari Snyder worked together through all eight laps to achieve that exceptional feat, putting on quite a show for distance fans."
Daniel Casagrandi won the 400 in 52.8, then ran a nearly identical time to anchor the 4 x 400 team (Jackson Dawe, Gabe Putt and Emilio Frye-Reyes) to a win in 3:36.7, just one second ahead of the Rams.
Also picking up wins on the track were Jermere Jones in the 110 hurdles (15.2), Jonathan Dawe in the 300 hurdles (45.1) and the 4 x 100 relay team of Frye-Reyes, Blake Mallast, J.J. Kelly and Antonio Harrison II (48.4).
In the field, the Trojans (4-0, 4-0 MPC) had a pair of double winners — Peter Mertz in the discus (163-7) and shot put (47-8.5), and Kelly in the high jump (6-6) and triple jump (45-5.25).
Other winners were Jude Grillo in the javelin (132-10) and Luke Mertz in the pole vault (9-6). The Trojans outscored CD 52-11 in the field and 65-22 on the track.
GIRLS TRACK & FIELD
Chambersburg 113, Central Dauphin 38: The Trojans dominated the Rams in the field (48-15) and on the track (64-23) to earn a Mid Penn Commonwealth victory on Thursday afternoon at Trojan Stadium.

"The distance runners took advantage of good running weather, and we had three separate individual winners between the 800 and 3200," Trojan coach Chris Monheim said. "All three girls — Lexi Boyd (800, 2:23.8), Samantha Faust (1600, 5:38.9) and Madelyn Koons (3200, 11:48.0) — had personal bests in their events."
Also taking firsts on the track were Natalia Holmes in the 100 (12.4), Katy Weller in the 400 (1:04.2) and Marlee Jackson in the 300 hurdles (49.7). The 4 x 100 relay of Jaxin Frazer, Jahnaya Trotter-Wimberley, Leshae Hang and Holmes (50.9) and the 4 x 400 team of Weller, Olivia Coy, Maggie Holtry and Holmes (4:18.5) also won.
Winners in the field for Chambersburg (3-1, 3-1 MPC) included Sienna Scott in the high jump (4-8), Cami Bender in the javelin (97-4), Trotter-Wimberley in the long jump (16-6.5), Alaina Morris in the pole vault (9-0) and Ashley Gunkleman in the shot put (31-4.75).
Monheim said, "It was nice to see Jackson going sub-50 so early in the season in the 300. Morris cleared nine feet in the pole vault and Gunkleman had her best throw of the season in the shot put."
