SOFTBALL
Chambersburg 11, Central York 0: The Trojans played the first of 4 games this week and jacked up the Panthers in a non-league game in York on Tuesday afternoon.

Saleen Null

Chambersburg rapped out 12 hits and scored in each inning of the five-inning contest and the pitchers allowed only 2 hits in the shutout win.

"There is always concern with 16 days between games, but the girls came to play," Trojan coach Chris Skultety said. "They were biting at the bit to get out in the dirt and play some ball and it showed."

Kori Leedy pitched 4 innings and gave up 2 hits and no walks and fanned 7. Saleen Null threw a hitless inning with 2 strikeouts.

Leadoff batter Bree Paetow was 3-for-4 and scored 3 times, Karley Skultety was 2-for-2 with a double and 2 RBIs; and Sam Paetow was 3-for-4 with a double and a pair of runs knocked in.

Coach Skultety said, "Kori pitched another good game and the top of our lineup continues to see the ball well. Malia Cramer made a great play in right field and Karley and Saleen both hit bombs that were out in any other park."

Null was 2-for-3 and Addison Gsell drove in two runs.
