Cumberland Valley 16, Chambersburg 3: The Eagles controlled the faceoffs and that led to a Mid Penn Commonwealth victory over the Trojans in New Kingstown on Thursday evening.

Goals for Chambersburg (1-6, 0-3 MPC) were scored by Ryan Cosey, Riley Harmon and Garrett Iser, and Matt Tucker provided one assist.

Trojan coach Joey Wilmot said, "CV had a faceoff guy who won every one he took, and that's a huge advantage for them. Early on on offense we were getting good looks and then shooting it right at the goalie's stick.

"I thought Jackson Beardsley probably had the best game for the team and he was playing at less than 100%."
