The Mid Penn Commonwealth win snapped a 6-game skid for Chambersburg (2-6, 1-3 MPC).

"It wasn't our most disciplined game defensively, but by far it was the most disciplined game offensively we've played all year," Trojan coach Joey Wilmot said. "Every game we take ill-advised shots and a ton of all-advised, forced passes, but today I don't think we took more than one bad shot."

Ryan Cosey led the offense with 5 goals and an assist and had several groundballs. Sam Kunkleman scored a goal and contributed 4 assists. Riley Harmon had 2 goals and 2 assists and won 50% of the faceoffs. Also, Logan Mulkey had 2 goals and Garrett Iser scored once.

Wilmot said, "Jackson Beardsley didn't do a lot stat-wise, but he played Carlisle's best player, Isaac Beals, who had probably scored half of their goals this year. He scored the first goal of the game, but didn't score the rest of the game. Jackson locked him down.

"Our goalie, Kristian Freeman, did a nice job of leading us in the clear game. It's nice to have a goalie we can count on to help us get the ball to our offense."
