Cedar Cliff 14, Chambersburg 8: The Trojans tallied their second-highest number of goals for the season, but an 11-0 halftime deficit was a little too much to overcome in a non-league defeat to the Colts on Monday at Trojan Stadium.

"The girls dug deep and came out to play in the second half," Chambersburg coach Keara Allshouse said. "We controlled the ball and got the job done during the third and fourth quarter. However, we need to get the ball rolling sooner when we play Thursday."

The Trojans (1-9) had four players score 2 goals each: Gabriella Sabatino, McKenna Myers, Mara Costolo and Reagan Barrett, while Barrett  and Sarah Wilcox contributed assists.

In goal, Megan Mickey came up with 18 saves.
