Chambersburg 18, Central Dauphin East 5: The Trojans snapped a 9-game losing streak with a bang, reaching their highest offensive output of the season in a Mid Penn Commonwealth win on the road against the Panthers.
"We came to play today," Chambersburg coach Keara Allshouse said. "Our defense played in a controlled aggressive style, and our attack was patient and worked the ball around the 12 until we got a good opportunity."
Reagan Barrett and Gabriella Sabatino each fired in 6 goals to pace the offense for the Trojans (2-9, 1-4 MPC); Barrett also had 2 assists and Sabatino had one.
Also scoring were Taylor Mickey (2 goals, 3 assists); McKenna Myers (2 goals, 2 assists), Mollie Yardley-Gontz (1 goal) and Mara Costolo (1 goal).
