BOYS LACROSSE
Chambersburg 11, Red Land 6: The Trojans remained hot, taking down the Patriots for their fifth win in their last six games, in a non-league contest at Trojan Stadium on Monday night.

"Awesome team effort, and our domination of groundballs won us that game," Chambersburg coach Joey Wilmot said. "Our defensive mids were all over the place. Tavian Ferguson, Quinn Makosy, Dayre Senft and Garrett Iser were all dominant on defense, groundballs and transition. Quinn, in particular, was fantastic in transition."

For the Trojans (6-7), Logan Mulkey fired in 4 goals, Sam Kunkleman had 2 goals and an assist, Makosy had 2 goals, and single goals were produced by Riley Harmon (1 assist, 9-for-13 faceoffs); Iser (1 assist) and Ryan Cosey (1 assist), and Matt Tucker and Ferguson also had assists.

Kristian Freeman made 12 saves in goal.

"When Kristian plays well, we play well," Wilmot said. "We've had different guys lead the scoring lately and today it was Logan Mulkey. We get some much-needed rest now before a big game Saturday against Conestoga Valley."
