Chambersburg 9, Red Land 1: The Trojans rapped out 14 hits, led by a 3-for-3 performance by Saleen Null, to swamp the Patriots in a Mid Penn Commonwealth game at Norlo Park on Wednesday afternoon.

Brooke Leedy

Null had a double and home run, her third of the season. Morgan Lehman was 2-for-2 with a double and drove in 3 runs. Kori Leedy belted a home run, the first of her career.

The top three players in the lineup for Chambersburg (15-3, 10-3 MPC) — Bree Paetow, Karley Skultety and Samantha Paetow — each had 2 hits and Sam Paetow had 2 RBIs.

Trojan coach Chris Skultety said, "Senior Day is always emotional and I always reflect on one of the parts I don't look forward to — my seniors graduating. This day allows us to slow down and appreciate what these seniors have done for the program.

"This class is leaving a heck of a legacy, approaching 80 wins. That's amazing. Thanks to Sam (Paetow), Saleen (Null), Brooke (Leedy) and Lauren (Allison). I'm glad we have more time to enjoy this ride together."

Kori Leedy pitched the first 6 innings, giving up 7 hits and one run, while Null each pitched the final inning.

Chambersburg did not score until the third, but over the last 4 innings, scored 3, 2, 3 and 1 runs.
