CHAMBERSBURG, PA -

The Mid Penn Conference announced its winter all-star teams Thursday and a total of 16 athletes from Franklin County were selected to the first team of their respective divisions.

In boys basketball, Collin Taylor and Jayden Statum of Shippensburg made the first team of the Colonial Division, as did Cole Rhyne of Waynesboro.

The first team of the Colonial Division in girls basketball included four locals — Shippensburg's Tori Rumbaugh and Chelcie Forrester, Greencastle-Antrim's Mia Perry, and MacKenzie Stoner of James Buchanan.

Wrestling produced the most area choices, with three in the Commonwealth and six in the Colonial.

Chambersburg's list included Karl Shindledecker, Tate Nichter and Luke Nichter in the Commonwealth.
