It was Chambersburg's 9th win over Harrisburg in their last 10 meetings.

"I was really pleased with how we ran the floor and shared the ball," Trojan coach Shawn Shreffler said. "We were also able to win the rebound battle, which is big for us, and allowed us to get out and run. When they went zone, we did a great job  of attacking it and it and built on our lead."

Jai'tavius Kelly was a huge factor for Chambersburg (13-2, 8-1 MPC) — he scored a career-high 25 points — 10 more than the freshman's previous best. He also connected on a pair of threes from the corner, led the team in rebounds and his off-the-ball movement enabled him to get open for passes underneath, especially when the Trojans broke the Cougars' press or went through their zone defense.

Jacob Bassham scored 14 of his 16 points in the first half, including four 3-pointers, to help his team build a 40-27 lead by the half.

Also for Chambersburg, Nevin Yeager and Andon Martin each scored 8 points, Eli Shearer had 7 and Ian Stewart scored 5..

Shreffler said, "We got contributions from a lot of guys, which is really important for our continued growth within a very competitive schedule."

Jayme Stanely scored 18 for Harrisburg (5-10, 2-7 MPC).
