BOYS LACROSSE
Chambersburg 13, Bishop McDevitt 9: The Trojans owned the fourth quarter, outscoring the Crusaders 4-1 in that period, to claim a non-league victory Monday night in Harrisburg. The Trojans open the season 3-0 for the first time since 2010.

Carson Forrester

Chambersburg coach Joey Wilmot said, "It was 9-8 going into the fourth quarter and we got a quick goal (in 6 seconds) from our faceoff guy (Carson Forrester) and that built a lot of momentum for us."

Forrester was 16-9 in faceoffs and also picked up 8 groundballs

"Their goalie was hot in the first half," Wilmot said. "We made a switch with our goalie, and we made some shooting adjustments, and that made the difference. Raudel Perez did a nice job in goal in the second half — making five saves and only letting in two goals. Dom Marangoni and Shea Makosy were dominant all game again."

Marangoni had 6 goals, an assist, 9 groundballs and 3 turnovers caused, while Makosy had a goal, 6 groundballs and 7 forced turnovers.
