Northern York 3, Chambersburg 2: The Trojans produced wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles, but the Polar Bears won the other 3 matches and captured a non-league victory Monday afternoon at Norlo Park.

At No. 1 singles, Sarah Vessah breezed to a 6-2, 6-2 win over Amelia Allen to go 2-0 for the season.

The No. 1 doubles team of Ashlee Barrett and Marley Christopher dropped a close one in the first set, 7-6, but bounced back to earn wins of 6-2 and 6-2 to pick up the victory.

Charlie Kalathas won the first set in her match at No. 2 singles for Chambersburg (0-2), 6-2, but was defeated 6-3, 6-3 in the next two.
