GIRLS BASKETBALL
Central Dauphin 38, Chambersburg 25: The Rams held the Trojans to just 11 points through three quarters, holding a 34-11 lead, and picked up a Mid Penn Commonwealth win at CASHS Field House on Friday night.
"Central Dauphin has so many weapons," Chambersburg coach Jamiur King said. "Alexis Ferguson had 21 points and is a very difficult matchup for us. Last time, Olivia Green had 15. They are a very good team and they put you in places on the court that make them very successful on the defensive end of the floor."
For the Trojans (4-9, 2-5 MPC), Emily Forrester tallied 14 points and picked off 10 rebounds. Ella Parker chipped in 8 points, going 6-for-8 at the foul line.
"Parker has had a couple of good games in a row," King said. "She's giving us a chance to stay in most of our games.
"We battled some injuries tonight, with T.T. Kelly and Hailey Frankhouser not at 100%, so we were a little short-handed. But the girls are getting better every day."
