Trojans take 8 medals at Last Chance Meet

Trojans earn wins in 8 events: Chambersburg competed at the Last Chance Meet at Greencastle's Kaley Field on Monday night and took first place in eight events.

For the girls, Natalie Holmes scored wins in the 100 (12.47) and 200 (25.49), and anchored the winning 4 x 100 relay team that included Jaxin Frazer, Niamah Collins and Lashae Hang, which won in 49.97.

Jahnaya Trotter-Wimberley jumped 18-0.5 to take first place in the long jump, and Abby Bucher was first in the discus with a throw of 106-0. In the high jump competition, Mikaela Sistrunk hit 4-11, but lost out on first place because of more misses.

Antonio Harrison earned first place in the 200 for the boys, hitting the line in 22.20. He was also the anchor for the 4 x 100 relay team that won in 43.41. The others were Imari Watson, Jermere Jones and Emilio Frye-Reyes.

Chambersburg's other winner was Luke Mertz in the pole vault, hitting a height of 11-6.
