Sites places 26th: Chambersburg golfer Brady Sites was the top finisher for his team Wednesday in a Mid Penn Commonwealth match at Centre Hills in State College, shooting a 16-over par 88 to place 26th.
Also for the Trojans, Carter Zeger shot 91 to place 30th, Max Piper carded a 92 to place 31st, Tommy Johnston shot 93 to take 33rd place, Kasen Shaffer tied for 35th with his 95 and Eli MDonald shot 96 to tie for 37th place.
The Trojans finished sixth as a team, 9 strokes behind Lower Dauphin. Home team State College won by 11 strokes over Hershey.
GIRLS TENNIS
Lower Dauphin 5, Chambersburg 0: The Falcons won four of the five matches by straight sets to soar over the Trojans in a non-league match on Wednesday afternoon in Hummelstown.
Chambersburg (0-2), had No. 1 singles player Charlie Kalathas back, but she was handled 6-2, 6-0 by LD's Addie Misiolek.
The tightest match was at No. 2 singles, with the Trojans' Leah Wadel falling in a 3-set nailbiter to Lauryn Parcon, 7-5, 5-7, 10-8.
Of the other three matches, No. 1 doubles was the closest, with Shelby Newman and Gwen Sefchek falling 6-2, 6-1.
