Cumberland Valley 5, Chambersburg 0: The Eagles took control after some Trojan mistakes and took a Mid Penn Commonwealth victory Monday night at Trojan Stadium.

"It was a tough night," Chambersburg coach Corey Grove said. "I thought we came out with energy, but made too many uncharacteristic mistakes and never recovered.

"CV is a top team in the district, and we need to learn from this and take positives where we can."

The Eagles led in shots (14-5) and corner kicks (5-3). Tyson Shanholtz and Gio Barberio split five saves for Chambersburg.
