In a balanced scoring effort, Quinn Makosy had a goal and 2 assists, Tavian Ferguson had a goal and assist, Blake Hitchens and Aydan Younkin each scored a goal and Austin Kireta and Wyatt Pyne each contributed an assist.

GIRLS LACROSSE
Cedar Cliff 13, Chambersburg 11: The Trojans made a huge comeback in the third quarter, but the Colts prevailed in the fourth for a Mid Penn Commonwealth victory Thursday night at Trojan Stadium.
Cedar Cliff held an 8-3 lead at halftime, but Chambersburg (3-4, 3-4 MPC) outscored the Colts 7-1 in the third to lead 10-9 with one period left. Unfortunately, Cedar Cliff had a 4-2 advantage in that final quarter.
"It was an amazing game," Trojan coach Shane Henry said. "We came out sluggish, but refocused at halftime. The girls are learning that if they play together and leave it all on the field, we can be competitive with anyone. They showed true grit tonight and I love seeing it."
Reagan Barrett scored 6 goals for Chambersburg, and added 3 caused turnovers and 3 draw controls. Brynn Sekel posted 4 goals, plus 4 caused turnovers, 7 draws and a ground ball.
Adele Henry contributed a goal, 2 caused turnovers and had 2 draws. Goalie Reese Heverley came up with 17 saves.
Coach Henry said, "Reese was absolutely incredible again tonight. We are coming together as a team and having a blast doing it."
BOYS TRACK & FIELD
Altoona 80, Chambersburg 70: The Trojans had a pretty good day on the track, but the Mountain Lions were superior in the field and that 46-17 margin in field events was enough in a Mid Penn Commonwealth meet at Trojan Stadium on Thursday afternoon.
Chambersburg (2-1, 2-1 MPC) outscored Altoona 53-34 on the track, but a DQ in the 4 x 100 relay and a loss in the 4 x 400 made a 20-point difference.
"That 20-point swing hurt us score-wise," Trojan coach Jim Boyer said. "This was the third meet in a row that one of our go-to relays legs left the meet with an injury, and some of that is just bad luck."
Chambersburg did well in distance events — Kaden Rife won the 800 in 2:03.4, Liam Kirkpatrick took the 1600 in 4:42.3 and Julian Clark was the 3200 winner in 10:21.5. Rife, Kirkpatrick, Boston Vincenti and Aiden Alleman won the 4 x 800 in 8:30.7.
Other track winners were Jon Dawe (300 hurdles, 40.7), Antonio Harrison (100, 10.9) and Kason Besecker (200, 22.3).
The only winner in the field was Luke Mertz, who won the pole vault in a jump-off with a height of 13-3.
Boyer said, "Altoona's guys were really strong in the field. It's tough to have such a close loss and as a coach you second guess how and where you could have changed the lineup to get a different result. But close meets are more exciting than blowouts, and they lead to guys scrapping, like Isaac Stepan passing into third place in the 800 in the last 30 meters."
Altoona 112, Chambersburg 38: The Trojans ran into a buzz saw Thursday afternoon, losing big to a talented Mountain Lion squad at Trojan Stadium in a Mid Penn Commonwealth meet.
Altoona took first place in 16 of the 18 events against Chambersburg (2-1, 2-1 MPC).
The only win on the track for the Trojans came in the 200, when freshman Addy Brubaker posted a winning time of 26.7, a personal best. In the field, Alaina Morris' win in the pole vault (10-0) was the only event Altoona did not win.
"Addy continued a great season with a nice win, and Mady Koons and Natalie Quinn had strong days against a very good Altoona distance squad," Chambersburg coach Chris Monheim said. "Alaina's pole vault was a highlight and Cam Bender got a season-best in the javelin (103-4). Also, Marlee Jackson's 100 hurdles time of 16.7 was a personal best."
Second-place finishes for the Trojans included Serafina Richards (shot put), Bender (javelin), Jackson (100 hurdles), Koons (1600), Quinn (3200) and Olivia Coy (400).
